I ROBOT is a film set in the future, where humans have become dependent on robots in their lives. Robots become more advanced, but each one is made to always obey humans and to never harm a human due to the "THREE LAWS". So, when a USR scientist turns up dead and Suicide is suspected, Del Spooner, the Robot-Hating Policeman Suspects Murder instead - Robot Murder, to be more specific - Sonny, a Unique Robot that was found hiding at the crime scene . Del Spooner now starts investigating his suspicions with no one at his side but the USR worker - Dr. Calvin. Further into the Movie we find out about Del Spooner's past and the reason he hates Robots.
