This Article is about the Web users throughout Canada and what they have found out about the amount of the Web Users and Why it has risen so Dramatically...

I think my Article is very Informative because it not only tells us a bit more about Technology in the Physical World, but it also tells us about the Physical World it's self. It also gives us a glimpse into the future and what technology usage might mean in the future. I think it is also good to know what is happening with technology in the Physical World because then we can see what we make of that.

This Article relates to our I.T classes in a way that it is about Technology All in All and that in our I.T classes we too use the Web. It also is connected to our I.T classes because in school we are children learning about technology which does help the rate of the use of technology go up or "Raise Dramatically"

VANCOUVER SUN :- More web users in west, statscan says

A federal survey reveals that more Canadians in the west use the web than those in the east.

An average of four in five (80%) Canadians over 16 were online in 2010, Statistics Canada said on Wednesday.

However, only 70% of individuals living in New Brunswick were regular Web users, while 86% of B.C. counted among Canada's netizens in 2010.

Redesigned for 2010, StatsCan's annual Canadian Internet Use Survey was broken into two components to measure household and individual usage, based on responses from two samples totalling more than 50,000 people.
While the new design makes the results difficult to compare with previous years, New Brunswick has typically ranked toward the bottom of Canadian Internet usage since 2005.
No explanation of the vast geographic disparity was immediately forthcoming.
Canadians aged 65 and older accounted for 51% of those who remained offline last year while 39% of non-users had extremely low income.
The remaining 10% cited a range of explanations from a general lack of Internet, time or training for their continued Internet reticence.

This Article is about how People have researched and found out that Technology helps Children learn better and Concentrate, and That it is also easier for Teachers to use more Technology in School... This Article is mainly about School Children in Exeter, England, but I think it involves School Children in All.

I think my Article is Interesting because it talks about School Children and how they like to learn, It also involves our I.T Classes very much as We are School Children and we are learning through Technology too. I think it is easier for children of this generation to use technology, we are growing up in a formation of new and advanced technology.

This article is connected to IT8 because it is about Children using Technology, which is what we do in school. It is also connected to IT8 because it tells us that learning with Technology is easier for children and I think that can be true for some cases in the school.

WITH the exciting prospect of a new building opening within the next five or six years, staff and pupils at Tiverton High School are currently exploring all aspects of education technology.

The provision of new technologies has been a key priority at the school for a number of years.

As a specialist visual arts school, students on design courses get access to the kind of professional equipment used in industry. For example, in a recent GCSE digital design project, students were able to use the latest technology to create CD covers.
The school has three computer suites kitted out with modern Apple computers and professional Adobe creative software.
Four years ago, THS became part of the Apple Regional Training Centre programme, providing training opportunities for teachers across Devon. However, recognising that choice is important, the school's technical support staff continue to ensure the students have a range of different computer systems and software to use.
Assistant headteacher Alistair Fitchett said: "We also believe very strongly in making use of the technologies young people increasingly have available to them outside of school. For example, when the level of ownership of mobile phones among students grew enormously several years ago, THIS recognised that the potential positives of these devices outweighed the negatives.

"Now, for example, students in art lessons will regularly use the cameras on their phones to collect resources to use in their work, and students in music might video a performance to reflect on what improvements might be made."

The school also uses technology to communicate with the outside world and the school website is a crucial means of sharing news and information with parents and the rest of the town.
The school was also one of the first in the country to have an account on Twitter.
And the school's Virtual Learning Environment website allows students to access learning content and teacher support outside of traditional lesson time — especially useful when weather led to the unexpected closure of the school.

The Net – The Net is about young and beautiful Angela Bennett is a computer expert. The only activity she has outside of computers is visiting her mother. A friend, whom she's only spoken to over the net and phone, Dale Hessman, sent her a program with a weird glitch for her to de-bug. That night, he left to meet her and was killed in a plane crash. Angela discovers secret information on the disk she has received only hours before she leaves for vacation. Her life then turns into a nightmare, her records are erased from existence and she is given a new identity, one with a Criminal Record. She struggles to find out why this has happened and who has it in for her. This Movie is related to IT8 because is practically based on Technology. Also, it has a lot to do about the Internet and how dependent people are on Computers.
Fire Wall – Fire Wall is about a Man Called Jack Stanfield who is an Executive responsible for the Security of the Computer System of a small Bank. He is very connected to his Family, composed of the Architect Beth, a Teenager Daughter and a Young Son. When the Gang led by the Criminal Bill Cox invades his house, they force Jack to transfer a hundred million dollars to a bank account in Cayman Islands as ransom for his Family. When Bill does not release his Family, Jack tries to save them on his own. This Movie relates to IT8 because it is about Internet usage. It is also about how someone had hacked some Important bank files using computer programmes and a very advanced mind.
The MATRIX – Matrix is set in the future, and is about a computer hacker named Neo who discovers that all life on Earth may be nothing more than an veil created by an evil Cyber-Intelligence, for the purpose of calming us while our Life Essence is ”Stored" to feed the Matrix's Campaign of Domination in the “Real” World. He joins like-minded Rebel Warriors Morpheus and Trinity in their struggle to overthrow the Matrix. This Movie relates to IT8 because we learn about Technology and this is about a Computer Hacker. And it is about an Artificial Intelligence taking over the world and we are learning about Artificial Intelligence.
TRON Legacy – Tron Legacy is about a Boy - Sam Flynn, 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn, who looks into his Dad's disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of programs and games that his Dad had been living for 20 years. Along with Kevin's trusted friend, father and son set off on a life-and-death journey across a cyber universe that became more advanced and also VERY dangerous. This Movie relates to IT8 in the way that it is about a man that had been really immersed in a particular computer game and had gone missing. The rest of the movie is about trying to survive a live computer game and it's advanced Technology.
Transformers 1 – Transformers starts when Main Character Sam Witwicky (Spike) buys his first car. To his shock, he discovers it to be Bumblebee, a High-Tech Autobot in disguise who is to protect Spike, who has his Uncle Captain's glasses and the map engraved on them which Megatron wants. But Bumblebee is not the only Transformer that arrived on Earth - in the desert of Qatar, two allies of Megatron attack a U.S. military base, causing the Pentagon to capture all "specimens of this alien race." Spike and his girlfriend Mikaela find themselves in the midst of a High-Tech battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons. Meanwhile Megatron awakens. This Movie relates to IT8 as it is about Robots and Cars. Also in the movie it shows some very advanced Technology used in important organisations like the Pentagon.
Terminator 1 – Terminator is about a nearly unstoppable cyborg assassin who has been sent back from the year 2029 by a Group of ‘Human’ intelligent computer-controlled machines who want to Exterminate Humans in all. The Terminator’s mission is to kill Sarah Connor whose future son, John Connor, would lead a War against the machines in the Future. A human, Kyle Reese, is also sent back from the future by the Future John Connor himself to protect her. This movie relates to IT8 as it took advanced Technology to make the Terminator. Also, further into the series it shows how the future interferes with the present and the Technology used to create that interference.
Will Smith, I ROBOT – I ROBOT is a film presented in the future, where humans have become dependent on robots in their lives. Robots become more advanced, but each one is made to always obey humans and to never harm a human. So, when a scientist turns up dead and a Robot is suspected, the world wonders if they are as safe around their Robots as they thought. Will Smith stars as Del Spooner, the Robot-Hating Policeman from Chicago is in charge of the Murder Investigation. This Movie connects to IT8 because it took the evolution of Technology to reach to the standard of Robots. Also, in the film, it shows kinds of Technology we had never seen before. Artificial Intelligence is used in this film too.
Hackers - A young boy is arrested by the US Secret Service for writing a computer virus and is banned from using a computer until he turns 18. Years later, he and his friends discover a plot to unleash a dangerous computer virus, so they have to use their computer skills to find the evidence while being pursued by the Secret Service and the Person behind the virus. This Movie relates to IT8 because we had been learning about Computer Viruses when we watched The Net. It also has alot to do about computers so that just fits into the base of our lessons.
Avatar - This movie is about Two Worlds that collide due to Greed. A man I a wheelchair is given the Great Opportunity to help his Forces by entering a whole new World using Computers and Technology. But while planning how to Complete his mission amongst his foreign friend, he starts to hesitate and think about which side he really wants to be on. This Movie relates to IT8, as there is Technology used in the movie to connect the two Worlds. Also, Artificial Intelligence is used sometimes with the War Technology.
Iron Man 1 - This Movie is about a Guy called Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) a famous Weapon Designer. When he misses Death by an inch, He, with the help of an imprisoned Doctor, fight their way out of a foreign prison, by building a big Robotic Body Armour with Tony at it’s midst. This invention is soon after to be called Iron Man while Tony Stark learns how to control it to become a High Tech Super-Hero. This Movie relates to IT8 as his suit - Iron Man - is made of Advanced Technology. Also, His Laboratory includes Computers and Robots of Artificial Intelligence and Technology worthy of the Pentagon.
